This week, I finished up a few custom orders, including a remake of my daughter's mustache quilt (the template and tutorial to make this quilt can be found here):
And a pair of quilts for a little brother and sister who will be sharing a room:
But the biggest finish this week was cleaning up my sewing room and replacing the ugly linoleum and area rug with vinyl tiles. Here's a before pic:
And here's an after pic:
I am loving the new and improved space!
It is a tiny room (only about 8 x 8), but I make the most of the space with lots of vertical storage. The scrapbooking drawers from Michaels are a great place to house my fabric collections!

I love your mustache quilt. Do you have a pattern or template or tutorial? I'd love to make one.

Oh how I love the mustache quilt. My kid would fall over herself to get one of those! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the mustache quilt! And your room sounds about the size of mine! Redid it a couple of years ago (LOTS of vertical storage) and I am so pleased with it. Yours looks so cozy and inviting...ready for some creating!
ReplyDeleteI love that mustache quilt! I must pin it!
