I have a very BIG finish to share today!
19 days ago, I issued myself a challenge -- finish quilting the stack of flimsies (unquilted tops) before school gets out on June 21st. Considering that I had 20 unquilted tops, that was quite a tall order! (If you're counting the stack in the photo, you'll only find 19 as the 20th one has already been delivered to its new home). You can see pictures of the individual tops by reading through this month's posts. Here are the final two finishes:
Quilt #19 in Amy Butler's Midwest Modern fabric collection, using my Bricklayer pattern:
So, what's on the agenda now? Lots of bindings, several custom orders, and a little sewing room organizing/cleaning. I'll have lots more to share on these projects in the coming days!
Wow! 20 Quilts in 19 days? I struggle to get one done in a month.
ReplyDeleteLove the orange quilt.
Holy cow! Good work! What a fun bunch of quilts to mark off the list.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!! I do lots of quilting, but I don't know that I've ever done 20 in 19 days! I've got some of the ombre fabric to make a quilt like yours, too! Whoop whoop for an epic finish!!!
ReplyDeleteWowzers that is a lot of quilts!! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI think that is more than I will get done in a lifetime! Great effort.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge accomplishment!! I can't imagine so many quilts quilted in such a short time. It usually takes me 20 days to baste a quilt :-). Congratulations on all those awesome finishes!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! I fear having such a stack of flimsies as I might not have the courage or stamina you had to finish them all. #20 is very striking, btw. Love it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! You are my hero!
ReplyDeleteNever mind the Whoop Whoop, how about a MASSIVE GIN & TONIC??! And a thousand cries of AMAZING! Well done you! Inspiring :D
ReplyDeleteThat is an epic finish! Amazing.
ReplyDeleteOMG you are amazing! I have a month left of my summer break and i will be lucky to get one or two of my 5 ongoing projects done, because I keep starting new ones!! Perhaps setting a specific goal is the idea I can take from this :)
