I've had a pretty productive week finishing up some custom orders!
I had fun putting together this custom palette of navy, yellow and red to match a customer's nursery.
I also made my first flag bunting. I used a triangle ruler to cut the flags, stitched them wrong sides together, pinked the edges, and sewed them to a strip of bias.
I finally got a chance to play with Patti Sloniger's new line for Michael Miller fabrics, Les Amis. Just like Backyard Baby, these cottons are so soft and silky to work with.
I also made a matching stroller blanket..
...pillow cover, and burp cloth.
All of these items are on their way to their new homes, but I have listed made-to-order versions of the Les Amis quilts in my Etsy shop.

Wonderful finishes. I have those colors left over, from finishing my triple zipper pouch using Les Amis and wasn't sure how I was going to use it but I love what you did here.
ReplyDeleteQ: for you....I was going to make a stroller blanket for charity....what size did you make yours?
I used 5 inch charm squares, 7 x 8 rows, and the size after washing was about 30 x 34 inches. Thanks for the compliments!
DeleteVery cute quilts! I love the colors you chose. I'm sure you'll have some happy customers!
