Quilt-A-Day, Day 9

This month, I'm challenging myself to blog about a new or recent finish every day.

This one is definitely one of my favorites! I used a bunch of Amy Butler scraps to make floating nine patch blocks (inspired by this quilt).
The squares in the blocks are cut at 3 1/2 inches, and they go together pretty quickly. It was lots of fun to see this one come together!

I'm working on a similar quilt in Heather Bailey scraps, so I can't wait to share that one when it's finished!

  1. I LOVE the colors. Thank you for sharing....pinned.

  2. Love this! I have a bunch of 3" squares cut. This is a great idea for using them. Thanks!

  3. Beautiful. Such a great way to use the squares you had.

  4. Very pretty. I like this pattern for some Mini Charms I have -- maybe for a table runner? Nice.

  5. I love this! Such a good idea to use up scraps.

  6. love, love, LOVE this! Great use of your scraps!

Thank you so much for sharing at Needle and Thread Thursday!
